Process

The opportunity seemed really cool and exciting, and the interview process seemed pretty standard.

It included:

  • A phone screen with the recruiter
  • An hour-long technical screen
  • A four-to-six-hour "on-site" with a few different people

The recruiter seemed enthusiastic and helpful until after the technical screen. The interviewer in the technical screen seemed uninterested in even being there. I was never told how long until I would hear back after the technical screen, and then was completely ghosted by both of them. There was no communication whatsoever.

It's pretty unprofessional and a little insulting to not receive at least a quick email indicating they wouldn't like to move forward. I've never experienced anything quite like this before.
