Recruiter call, phone screen, and onsite consisting of 4 rounds.
Extremely unprofessional process and a very bad look for the company. The phone screen was a coding problem mixed in with some conceptual questions. The onsite had two coding questions, one system design, and a manager interview.
One of the interviewers had their camera off the whole time and seemed like they couldn't care less about the interview. The manager conversation was pleasant.
At the end of the interview, the recruiter mentioned that they move fast and I would get an update in a couple of days, but I was completely ghosted, even after a follow-up. This is basic human decency, but please treat your interview candidates with respect and at least follow up with them after they spend over 5 hours interviewing for your company.
