Pros: IC level folks are smart, dedicated, and driven.
The company is in a stage of growth.
Lots to do means lots of opportunities to define what's next.
Fully remote is nice.
Cons: - 10% unregretted attrition goal means very high turnover.
- Incompetent middle management is resistant to feedback and unable to clarify expectations.
- Goals shift constantly for both projects and individuals.
- It's crunch time all the time.
- Engineering performance is measured by PR count and how many late nights they put in.
