Pros
  • Good (though far from the best) compensation;
  • Smart co-workers;
  • Great product;
  • Can't imagine any other pros;
Cons
  • Weird management style (e.g., I didn't talk to anyone from management during my first two months there).
  • Millions of obstacles for contractors (lack of access here and there).
  • Long/late hours (including meetings at 11 PM - 12 AM).
  • Work during weekends or vacation is kind of okayish there.
  • Legacy systems that are still in active use, but no one is going to support them (unless it really hurts... and it does from time to time).
  • As a contractor, you'll be almost completely excluded from corporate life.
  • Enormous efforts to meet deadlines (including implementing poor/poorly tested solutions and sacrificing weekends) without any apparent reason to not just shift them.
