Pros: Inspiring technology that has the ability to revolutionize the space industry, and a lot of talented and passionate people.

Cons: For a company that loves to claim to not be SpaceX, they somehow have taken all of the bad attributes from them. A majority of teams work 12+ hour days and Saturdays after being lured in with the promise of work-life balance. Senior leadership is inept and unwilling to listen to counter ideas despite the company touting that they want disruptive solutions. Nepotism runs rampant with leaders hiring their friends or former coworkers, and if you're not willing to blindly follow, you get retaliated against. It is such a shame considering that this place used to be visionary in both technology as well as the way they treated employees, but with the steady influx of toxic former space leaders, it has rapidly gone downhill. If you're looking for an organization that values the humanity of their employees, then stay far, far away from this place.

Cons: The start of this year has seen rapidly changing priorities, but I don’t think this will last. These are normal startup growing pains, like changing infrastructure, cutting back on free snacks, and moderate turnover.

Pros: Great people at the IC Level; Interesting projects and challenges; High degree of ownership. Eric Schmidt seems to be personally invested in the mission for Relativity to be a private space pioneer of science. Free lunch Mondays and Fridays; Decent free snacks and drinks; $30/mo. reimbursement to use a personal device instead of a work phone.

Cons: Company culture is losing emphasis on the human element and work-life balance, especially in Manufacturing. Normal schedule has ballooned to 50-70 hours per week with regular weekend work that is requested and scheduled with at most two days notice. Constant factory construction creates hazardous conditions with slow support from EHS and Infrastructure to address noise, dust, and aluminum particulate. Ex-SpaceX Management pushing schedules in ways that strains relations between teams and orgs. Virtually non-existent 401k match. Eric Schmidt's takeover reset everyone's equity vesting, which was basically a bankruptcy and buyout without the formalities of such. Equity is now tied to job level and only increases after hiring with promotions. Massive gaps in middle management leave lower levels without proper support. Sr. Directors and VPs are making tactical, day-to-day decisions instead of empowering and trusting their orgs.
