Process
The interview process started with a phone screen with a recruiter.
Unfortunately, the recruiter skipped the first two interviews without any notice and then finally showed up for the third without apologizing.
The next interview was with a manager, which was the most unprofessional I have had in 20+ years. The manager who interviewed me had zero interviewing skills and seemed very uncomfortable.
There were no meaningful questions about my resume. There was a lot of rambling, and then the manager launched into a "quiz" with five minutes left in the interview.
He became very disinterested when I tried to ask a couple of questions.
I'm not sure if this is typical for Rivian, but this young man was way out of his league.

This is due to having to prep 1-2 weeks before vacation, take calls and answer DMs during vacation, and have 1-2 weeks of catch-up after coming back from vacation. It makes taking time off very difficult and undesirable.
