Process
The interview consisted of three parts:
- A phone screen interview with a recruiter.
- A phone screen with the hiring manager.
- A panel interview that took four straight hours.
Overall, interviewers were very professional, with a caveat.
There were some very tough technical questions designed to check your familiarity with automotive engineering and whether you are a great fit for the role. However, I did encounter one interviewer who, in retrospect, seemed to be asking questions that amounted to a free consultation session. Be very wary of some of these interview questions, and never provide free consultation.

- Developing new technology with a highly efficient team.
- Fun work culture where everyone is contributing to the success of the program.
- Fast-paced environment where progress can be measured daily instead of quarterly.
- Not bogged down by bureaucracy.
- Each employee has a great deal of responsibility to contribute to the team.
Cons: It's a start-up, so it is expected that you will be providing value to the organization. If you aren't, you won't fit in here.
Each individual has a greater degree of responsibility than in a typical large organization. This can either be empowering or debilitating, depending on your mindset.
