Senior Android Software Engineer Interview Experience - Canada

November 1, 2022
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process contained five stages:

  • Call with HR
  • Call with Team Lead
  • Live coding (not a LeetCode problem, a pretty good problem which could be transformed to a harder level a few times according to your success)
  • System design (kinda)
  • Interview with a Manager

Average difficulty. Nothing fancy, overall a straightforward process. All interviewers were kind and fully prepared, and no one was late.

The main problem was the final feedback. After all stages, I expected everything but ghosting.

Feedback was requested a few times after the last stage, with intervals of a week or so, but it was senseless. It's a vivid example of how the company values candidates' time.
