Pros: During my internship at Rivian, I was given a lot of different projects. Some projects allowed me to lead efforts and directly present them to upper management from different teams. Others allowed me to build upon certain skills (e.g., CAD, CAE) through supporting other projects.
Cons: Layoffs during the summer definitely brought down company morale, with many interns losing their managers and/or mentors.

Pros: During my four years with Rivian, I'm certain of one thing: their culture is some of the best in the business. Because of that, I was able to work very effectively and collaboratively with various departments.
Cons: They’re still figuring out their organizational structure somehow.
