Pros
  • Very intentional culture pushed by leadership. Emphasis on collaboration.
  • Good pay and benefits for salaried workers (unlimited PTO, 401K match, stock bonus, cash bonus, annual pay evaluation).
  • Amazing products.
  • Leadership is always trying to make the company better. RJ is a good CEO.
  • Set up similar to most California tech companies.

The work I do in engineering is meaningful and exciting. I love my teammates, manager, and the projects I get to work on. Overall, it's the best place I have worked.

Just like any job, your opinion of the company is dependent on your specific job and management.

Cons
  • Automotive industry. Production jobs can be tough.
  • Long hours depending on your job and stage of projects.
  • Illinois isn't a great state to live in (IMO), but Bloomington/Normal is doing a good job changing to accommodate a new work force.
Advice to Management
  • Make sure to find ways for production employees to have a good work environment and work/life balance.
  • Don't fall into traditional automotive OEM cultures.
