Employee Work Experience
Software Engineer • Current Employee
San Mateo, California, United States
October 30, 2023
Pros: Interesting product. Nice coworkers. Good pay.
Cons: As the company and tech stack has grown, we spend more and more time on process issues (setup tasks, tooling, broken builds, trying to understand old undocumented code, secret knowledge) and less time just building new features. Leadership reneged on its commitment to allow remote work. This shows a lack of respect, a lack of empathy, and a lack of integrity.
