Pros: Good benefits and work culture.

Cons: There are not many growth opportunities, and there have been massive layoffs recently.

Pros: Good earning potential. A relatively stable industry; although rates fluctuate, people will always need to buy and sell houses. Good company values or "ISMs" when they are actually followed (see Cons for more). Recent all-company meetings have featured concerts from Snoop Dogg and Eminem.

Cons: Your experience depends entirely on your leader. Most are only looking out for themselves and will throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat. The company has great values, but most leaders only follow the ISMs when it benefits them directly. Leadership is extremely top heavy with a ton of micro management. After Rocket had its best year ever in 2021, there were massive layoffs every year since: 2022, 2023 (twice), 2024, and 2025 (twice).

Pros: I've worked with a great team of individuals throughout my time at Mr. Cooper. I firmly believe this is just as important as, if not more important than, the role itself.

Cons: Projects can become mundane or stale.
