Run from this company. They have no regard for people.
I interviewed with them for four hours. The interview was scheduled from 11 AM to 3 PM. However, not one interviewer asked me for a break or if I had had lunch. I interviewed at one of their sites; it was not a virtual interview.
During the interviews, I felt they were trying to gain information about my knowledge of building ML Ops and infrastructure at my past employers, rather than assessing my capabilities for the position I was interviewing for.
In the end, I was informed that they were looking for more experienced personnel. If you were looking for a more experienced person, why did you not make that judgment from the prescreen and hiring manager interviews?
They never offered to reimburse the cost of travel to their site (which I will always resent) or for food.
In the end, this is a crony start-up. Read past reviews before applying here. Favoritism runs deep, and you will work 15 hours a day talking with folks from Australia, which is where this company is based.
Would you be able to talk to teams in Australia while you are based out of the US?
Can you tell us how you would solve this problem that my manager and I have been stuck with for a month?
