A bored-out dude was sitting down, unsure of which position and person he was to interview. He asked which position I was going to interview for and then went over the flow of the interview. After the sketchy introductions, we got down to business, and I had to code a problem. He opened up a problem within Codepad and did not provide any information. I had to read two one-liners and figure out the intention of the whole question. After I asked a few questions, he provided basic answers, but it wasn't clear which direction he wanted me to go.
It was extremely disappointing to go through such a dull process, and I would never like to join such a company.
Question: Implement job scheduling with the timer library (Python).
Timer (scheduled thread/API) calls by using one at a time and maintaining a queue.
Problem with the problem statement: The intention was not clear, making it difficult to understand what the interviewer wanted to test or expect in terms of implementation.
