The interview process is industry standard, and I have no question about it. However, the recruiters and the overall communication during my interview seemed very poor.

The recruiter who contacted me was unprofessional, and the entire process felt unofficial.

Initially, I was contacted by a recruiter to schedule an on-site interview. As I was not in the Bay Area, I needed to book flights and a hotel. Rubrik did not provide an agent to assist with this; they stated that candidates usually came from the local area and that I would need to book my own travel and submit an expense report.

I discovered this policy only two days before my interview, which made travel expensive. Consequently, I communicated with them via email and phone to ensure all expenses were within their limits. After the interview, I submitted the report and billings.

There was no response for the next two weeks. I attempted to email them again, only to find the recruiter's email was no longer reachable. I then tried contacting the coordinator, but received no response.

I am unsure if Rubrik can see this comment, but please be aware that you may have to pay for your own travel expenses :(
