Recruiter call, then a hiring manager call was scheduled.
The hiring manager was conceited and bragged about how great and special the company is, implying I would be privileged to have the chance to interview with them. He was not humble and, in a way, talked down to me.
He came unprepared with very minimal and generic questions.
He was a terrible interviewer, and I could sense he's the type of manager who would micromanage you to death.
No thanks. Total turnoff.
Not the type of culture I want to be part of.
Sounds like a toxic work environment.
