They invest heavily into making it the absolute best place to work with great culture and fun. Small teams with very broad scope. Extremely flat hierarchy. New college grads have as much scope for impact as those with 15 years of experience. Opportunity to grow very quickly on the ladder. Extreme transparency. Never heard of open board of directors' meetings anywhere except here. Opportunity to learn the latest tech stacks, ranging from distributed file systems to AI/ML applications. Obsession with customer experience and API-first architecture. Very competent board. The best sales and marketing teams in this product space. PAY. Very aggressive offers to attract the best. Can beat FB and G offers off the park. Still pre-IPO. Lot of upside. Execs still make personal calls to potential candidates to work with them in choosing Rubrik's offer and go to great lengths for good candidates.

Cons: It's still the wild west in terms of processes. You need to be extremely self-motivated. A lot of customer calls can take up too much time. Still not out of the woods in terms of increasing AI/ML application revenue. Expected to work a lot. It can occasionally become too much due to aggressive timelines, many deliverables per engineer, and customer escalations. A lot of cross-geo collaboration leads to late-night and early-morning work hours.

Pros: Great work culture. Supportive and understanding leaders. Challenging problems. Excellent pay.

Cons: Work/domain is a bit uninspiring sometimes. A lot of work to do for small gains. Dev tools/environment are rigid and outdated.
