It's like a scam interview! After the HR phone call, I was selected and proceeded to the second round, which was the technical interview. However, things became abnormal:
First, I was not interviewed by Singapore local engineers but by someone calling from India. During the call, he was unfriendly, rude, and asked many unprofessional and inappropriate questions.
At the end, I felt he was trying to use me as a source to troubleshoot his daily work problems and steal my ideas. He then stepped away, and there was no result after the interview.
I suggest local Singaporeans do not take calls for such "interviews"!

You will be able to shortlist for the second round only if you know anyone within that team, otherwise, they will simply reject you in the second round. For example, if person A refers someone and they are rejected in the first round, then whoever attends the interview in the second round, either one of the team members will reject you. This has been happening for over a year.
