After the initial screening call, there were four interviews. I met with my now manager and two Lead Engineers.
It was the most pleasant technical interview I have done. While they grilled me, no one seemed interested in making me fail or proving they knew more. All technical sessions were collaborative and supportive.
There was also a timed online challenge, which was incredibly nerve-wracking and miserable. I managed to get about half of the tests passed in a new-to-me language and survived it.
The final interview was mostly a personality/culture fit interview.
There were a lot of "what would you do" questions. For example, what would you do if you force-pushed something to master and had to quickly revert?
