The hiring process is a mess. You go through 2-3 rounds of interviews, and once cleared, you are again asked to provide availability for a bunch of interviews, including onsite rounds. These are weirdly scheduled, conducted online, and at different times, especially late nights or early mornings, based on the interviewers' availability.
This involves a series of interviews with various team members, including moderate interviews and interactions with the Engineering Manager, Product Marketing Director, and a few senior developers.
After each interview round, you believe you are shortlisted for the next. However, after spending hours in these rounds, the least you would expect is not to be ghosted by HR.
Eventually, after all interviews, you just receive a standard automated email after a week or ten days stating they are pursuing someone else. The basic courtesy of a phone call to inform you was missing, especially when you were told you had cleared previous rounds until the last one.
Please don't waste your time with these rounds, and please set expectations with HR beforehand so you don't face these issues.
