- 4 rounds of phone screening (1 manager, 3 engineers)
- Remote programming test
- Onsite interview - 6 rounds (2 technical, 2 managerial, 1 HR)
The HR representative indicated they want me on board and is working on the offer. It has been over two months, and I am still waiting for the offer.
Their HR team really is subpar. They shouldn't leave candidates hanging for this long.
Questions
Most of the technical questions were around programming/data structure fundamentals, unit tests, recursion, etc., and a few systems design and behavioral questions.

Pros: Some of the smartest people around do not skimp on perks, stock, a popular place to work, a pretty diverse group of people, and pay.
Cons: Technology is outdated, system architecture is seriously dangerous, very very political. Management ignores technical recommendations to go for 'band-aid' fixes to appease upper management constantly. The company is very immature.

Pros: The team at SFDC is very strong in the technology group, and not too big.
The product we're building is great and has great potential if we're successful.
Cons: Because of the relatively small team, there's a lot for everyone to do, and that leads to long hours. This is better than having a lot of people, though, since you will end up with more mediocre staff dragging the talented people down.

Cons: No direction on careers. Management is eliminating US positions for outsourcing and attributes it to AI. The days of Ohana are dead and gone.
