Lead Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

The interview process is pathetic. You constantly have to follow up with HR to know the feedback and status of the interview. It's your responsibility to mail or call and get the outcome. HR will not update the status.

Despite giving optimized solutions to all algorithms during the onsite interview, and in each round, the interviewer had no questions after I provided the solutions, I was rejected stating I do not have Java skills. The HackerRank code was written in Java and reviewed before I was called onsite. I admit I was not able to answer the question on design patterns in Java.

They do not even clarify if a question is unclear. I also work for a reputed firm which is much bigger than Salesforce.
