Process

The process started when a recruiter reached out after I was referred by someone.

The first step was a technical phone screen. It was a pleasant discussion, and the question was a medium-difficulty dynamic programming problem. I solved the first part but could not finish the second part.

They extended an invitation for the onsite loop, which included four 1-hour interviews and a lunch discussion with the Director.

  • Interview 1: A medium-level question followed by an extension.
  • Lunch: More information about the team and role.
  • Interview 2: One easy tree question and one medium DP question. Nothing unexpected.
  • Interview 3: One medium question followed by a lengthy discussion on a sorting algorithm. I did not perform well in this interview.
  • Interview 4: A basic design question, some discussion on design patterns, and REST.
