I was interviewed for a different role but was hired as a Principal Engineer. The process was very smooth. I worked with an awesome recruiter who worked with my times as I was traveling. For the initial role, there were about 6 rounds of interview. SalesForce used that feedback and eventually hired me for a different role. The interview difficulty is really based on the level you are being hired for.
