Process
It was campus hiring. There were three rounds.
First was a technical written exam. Most of the questions were from OS, Data Structures, and Databases. Some questions were from Programming Languages: C, C++, and Java.
The next two rounds were technical interviews.
Questions
In the first round, I was asked three questions:
- Eliminate duplicate elements from a given linked list.
- One question on Permutations and Combinations.
- Union-Find algorithm.
In the second round:
I was given a problem to design an algorithm for it. Some questions on OS (Memory Management, Scheduling). Some questions on the C language.

Pros: Good benefits, like meal, cab, and events.
Cons: 1. No transparency in performance management and probation confirmation.
2. Managers behave like fiefs and can do whatever they want, so you are screwed if you don't get a new manager.
3. Most employees are hired from Oracle and are creating the same toxic environment that exists there, filled with insecurities, jealousy, and mismanagement.
4. HR is a handicapped, mute spectator and works for the sake of keeping their jobs.
5. Shift hardship allowances were recently restructured to cut costs.

Pros: Mark & Parker leadership.
Compensation-wise, it will be in the top 3 companies in Hyderabad.
Core values and trust-wise, it is No. 1 as far as I know.
Work-life balance is great, with an optional work-from-home option.
Opportunities-wise, it's improving a lot, with a lot more teams forming in Hyd.
Nice cafe bar and free food is a great plus, as it matters for working couples :)
Occasional US/Europe trips for R&D.
Great benefits like fitness and optical reimbursement.
Cons: 1. Problem in hiring due to brand value:
We need to increase the brand value of Salesforce to attract the best talent in India.
2. Inconsistent global rules:
Some rules are not common across the globe in Salesforce, and that's confusing sometimes, for example WFH and paternity leave, etc.
