It seemed like he was just going to let the engineer on the team I was interviewing for assess my technical ability, so he did not ask any technical questions. The technical interview question was simple string manipulation. I ended up not getting the position, but I got a third interview with an engineer on another team under the same hiring manager. The technical question was more simple string manipulation.
