This was easily the worst HR/interviewing experience I have ever had.
The first interview was scheduled after speaking with a recruiter at my university's career fair. I did well on the interviews but was a bit perplexed because they continued pairing me with Performance Engineers for interviews, which did not match my background at all.
After two interviews, the Salesforce recruiter emailed that they were putting together an offer. They then took that back and proceeded to put me through an additional interview.
Without hearing from the first recruiter, I was contacted by a second team's recruiter. I found out that they had transferred me only after inquiring myself.
I was put through two traditional software coding interviews where I felt I did well. Then, for some reason, I was interviewed by a Performance Engineer and promptly rejected when I explained to the engineer and recruiter that there must have been some mistake and that the general software engineering role was likely a better fit.
Performance engineering questions, traditional coding questions. Some over phone, some with Coderpad.
