Technical Architect Interview Experience - Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico

Process

I was contacted from Salesforce staff after reviewing my LinkedIn profile. I had 4 interviews via Skype in total. The first was to let me know the offer and review certain aspects of my experience, a very brief call. The second and third interviews were direct to the technical stuff, discussing topics about mobile, security, cloud, portals, integration, and development. Some of the questions were really hard for me, especially in the security area, but overall the interviews were very easygoing thanks to the interviewers. The fourth interview was a group panel where I had to showcase my experience in terms of architecture and answering hypothetical scenarios. This was the hardest interview since there were 4 interviewers in the call. Still, I got to get my confidence at the very start of the call and felt very good answering the questions. Even some of them felt really challenging, also you have little time to answer.

Questions

Elevator sales pitch (present yourself to a potential client with very limited time to do it), and the hypothetical scenario for justifying/selling and integration middleware to the marketing department (or non-technical department) of a customer.
