I applied online and also asked my friend at Salesforce to refer me.
I received a call from an internal Salesforce recruiter within a week, who scheduled a telephonic round to evaluate role and culture fit. After this initial interview, which focused on matching my experience to the role's requirements, I was scheduled for a technical round with Program Architects.
Two Program Architects interviewed me, asking a variety of technical questions covering security, SSL, on-premise and cloud connectivity, design patterns, ETL, and best practices for Apex. The best part was a rapid-fire round at the end. It was a well-utilized one-hour interview.
I was informed of the interview results within one day, and the next, final round with Directors was scheduled for two weeks later.
The Director-level interview focused on verifying consulting experience, culture, and role fit. It was a 40-minute round, and I was expected to discuss my experience with client/stakeholder management and handling difficult customers.
After three days, I received a call from the recruiter about the results, and I WAS SELECTED! It has been an amazing six-week interview journey, and I felt content after clearing all rounds.
