From top to bottom, 95% of employees in Hyderabad are Telugu. In team meetings and at desks everywhere, they talk in Telugu. No one follows office etiquette, making the culture toxic.
If you are a non-Telugu employee, your life will be hell here. They will assign more work to you, and during appraisals, Telugu employees will get more hike percentage, stocks, promotion, and everything. A non-Telugu person has to listen to blame and bad feedback. They will sideline you in all aspects.
You can't raise your concerns to HR or the ethics department because there is also Telugu management, and at the end, they will prove that you are wrong.
Managers and recruiters will highly exploit the employee referral program. They will only refer and hire their known people to add more Telugu persons to the team. There is no transparency in hiring and stopping the right talent from coming in.
I am not targeting or blaming Telugu people here, but it is the people who are making the culture more toxic here. Non-Telugus will be a minority, a highly exploited community here.
Bring more transparency into the hiring process to make Salesforce have a diversified culture and bring in the right talent pool.
Do a proper survey so that employees will share their sufferings.
Have a check if managers are using their powers to favor Telugu speakers and exploit non-Telugu speakers.
