Pros

Very informal working environment. Good benefits, with the exception of sick days, as they are capped at 65 in a year (this is valid for the Dublin office), and the long-term illness insurance is triggered only after six months.

Mobile phone, desktop, and laptop are standard equipment assigned to anyone in R&D.

The wellness program and a quite big bonus, combined with restricted share units (RSUs), make the salary package very competitive.

Cons

It is too centralized to the San Francisco office; it is quite frequent you need to wait until someone in San Francisco comes online to get the information you need.

The desks in the Dublin office are a bit small, and you get only one Ethernet port.

Technically, the company does not use virtualization as many other companies do.

Advice to Management

I think the onboarding process needs to be streamlined and better structured, considering the amount of tribal knowledge in the company.

I would like to see a more distributed company where R&D is outside California.
