I like the culture at Salesforce. It is very much driven by tech professionals who do things the right way.
I also enjoy the great pay and benefits. Another pro is the effort that Salesforce puts into diversity and inclusion. If you are looking to make a difference, Salesforce is certainly a great place to do it.
Very much a sales-focused organization. While the engineers are skilled, they often face hurdles in getting upper-echelon approval when the project is not focused on selling a product or in helping the sales department. This causes the need to implement needless workarounds. It is also a shame about the layoffs.
Include technical focus in your vision and do not focus predominantly on Sales departments.
Phone interview was fast enough. Average difficulty. Onsite interviews: Hard algorithm and system design. The rest was as expected. Was able to negotiate offer afterward. Had to wait a few months before the start date due to headcount.
The interview went well. They were thorough and interested in my needs for growth and the type of management I would want. They were very clear with the goals and objectives of the job. I would highly recommend working at this company.
Applied through an employee referral. I had three onsite interviews. Everyone was professional and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions about the organization, structure, and how I fit into the position. There was a bit of whiteboard
