Pros: SanDisk is a great product-based company with a good office culture. It is busy 24x7 with lots of work to do and 100% production support.
Cons: Compensation is low as per the standard and cost of living in the Bay Area. Except for being loaded with tons of work, I don't see any personal growth for experienced engineers.

Pros: Leading technology in the NAND flash business. Good chance of working with many talented engineers on different storage-related projects.
Cons: Management and marketing are weak. They consistently create and then cancel or postpone projects. The business vision needs to be improved.
