Process

The process began with a phone interview with a recruiter, followed by two on-site interviews.

The first on-site interview was with two team leaders. They asked about my experience and background. Then, they presented specific customer incident scenarios (support is a significant part of the role) and asked how I would handle them. They also asked a couple of basic Java questions and for some basic SQL definitions. Finally, they posed one "curveball" question to assess my process-oriented thinking.

The second on-site interview was with a manager and another member of the same team. Many questions focused on my background and experience, along with inquiries about my comfort level with the job's responsibilities. This interview also included coding examples for me to identify bugs or issues and explain my proposed fixes.
