Process

The first round of the interview went too well. All kinds of questions were asked: Java, puzzles, problem-solving, and trick questions.

The second round of the interview went equally badly. The interviewer was sadistic; he made me uncomfortable from the very first statement he made. I told him that I am currently working on Android but am interested in core Java. So he asked me to write all the features in core Java. I listed around 12 features. His reply was, "If you are so interested in core Java, are these all the only features in Java?" He was mocking me by laughing with one cheek all the time.

Last but not least, he asked me about my CTC. It was just the second round of the technical interview, and he was neither the hiring manager nor HR. It was not in his capacity to ask my CTC. Apparently, he does not use an IDE; he does all coding on Notepad (sarcasm).
