Scheduled a tech round and interviewed with two people in the same round. These were the most incompetent interviewers I have encountered in my entire life. SAP wants people who are not technically strong, as this reduces competition for them in internal promotions. A bunch of fools have been in the company for like 15-20 years.

I have around 8 years of work experience in the industry. The interviewers' first set of questions were related to creating a Java file from the Mac terminal and printing my name. lol

I was then bombarded with all theory questions, like the difference between REST and HTTP, types of user authentication, DBMS queries, etc., and REST API design for some scenario.

At the end of my interview, I was asked one coding question related to stacks, which I completed in 5 minutes and spent the next 20 minutes explaining the logic to the interviewer.

At SAP, I don't think they interview for one's DS/algo/system design skills, as they need incompetent people like them.

I was rejected the next week, as I had already prayed to God that I didn't want to work with such people.
