I was part of a team that was friendly and helpful.
Was employed as part of campus placement. The HR promised 20 LPA for the role and blocked us from applying at other organizations. Don't know what "per annum" meant to her, but I only got 45% of that as pay + benefits. Because they blocked us, I couldn't apply for organizations that actually paid their people what they promised. Being specialized in AI (M. Tech), SAP couldn't even give me an AI role. Senior leadership believes in using services from cloud service providers.
Finally, when I resigned, the management made me pay the joining bonus in its entirety, which was taxed at 31.25%. They didn't even ask for the joining bonus during any interview. The HR just added it so that they could harass employees who leave.
A former teammate of mine with 7 years at SAP left the organization due to lack of growth. There are people who want to leave, but again the management gave him a position of "Associate Architect" to retain him. Don't know how that adds value to the team/product.
Tell the truth to your employees. Deception can't get you loyal employees.
The online assessment consisted of two medium-level DSA questions. Both were based on dynamic programming. For the first technical round, I was asked about OOPs and DBMS concepts, plus system design questions.
There were 4 rounds for me: - First: Technical round (aptitude questions) - Second: Technical round (coding questions) - Third: Managerial round (resume questions) - Fourth: HR round (general human interaction and resume questions)
4 Rounds: Technical, Technical, Database, HR. The first two technical rounds focused on OOPS, algorithms, and basic CS principles. The HR round focused on SWOT analysis and why you want to join SAP.
