Nice work environment. Management is very respectful of employees.
There's too much to learn about software design and architecture.
Technically, what you are asked to do is not challenging, easy, and somewhat boring tasks. You are locked into SAP ABAP-related technology. You are explicitly required to do what you are asked to do and not to be creative. You should wait a few years before you're heard.
Developers learn a lot about software engineering but don't have opportunities to implement what they learned in the first few years at SAP. Many end up leaving to take on more responsibilities.
