Got a call from a recruiter. The HackerRank test was shared, and one technical interview is scheduled. The feedback was negative; I'm not sure about the remaining rounds.
The questions were:
a. How do you rate yourself in Java on a scale of 1-10? b. How do you rate yourself in data structures and algorithms on a scale of 1-10?
I think these questions should have been asked by HR, not a technical interviewer.
It clearly felt like the person was planning to reject [me/the candidate] and still wasted the remaining time making the interviewee uncomfortable.
