Interviewed for a Sr. Software Engineer role. I had an initial technical screening, and the interviewer was super impressed with my coding and problem-solving skills. I received an email on the same day to schedule the "Life Story Interview."

I scheduled it for two days later. The interviewer asked me about:

• Why Shopify
• Explaining my recent project and the tech stack

A couple of days later, I got a rejection, stating they were moving forward with other candidates. I'm not sure why my life story wasn't interesting enough to advance to the next rounds.
