Process
I had a really great experience.
I had a phone screen with a manager who asked me a relatively easy question, and I finished it in 30 minutes. The rest of the time, I asked him how life was at Shopify, and it seemed pretty sweet.
A week later, I had a "Life Story" interview. I thought my story was pretty interesting, and the recruiter was awesome—bubbly, nice, and engaged. She let me know she would update me as soon as she could, as I was on a tight schedule with other interviews.
A couple of days later, I got rejected because my resume wasn't what they were looking for compared to other candidates. The reason I applied was so I could have a better resume and learn some of the great technologies they use!
Anyways, I would recommend interviewing here. Just make sure to make a good impression.
