The life story interview went okay. They ask for LeetCode mediums for coding exercises, which is horrible. The lower bound of the pay range is low, at $110-150. "Generous" RSUs, voluntary on-call rotation, with shifts that are 24 hours long. Funny enough, their stock nosedived from $2K CAD when I interviewed to $500 CAD right now. Bullet dodged. Engineering managers are expected to split their time 50/50 between being a manager and writing code. This doesn't work; it ends up being 100/100. The recruiter says it works, but when I asked the EMs, they said it doesn't, lol. Unengaged interviewer, feels like they're just waiting for their shares to vest and leave.
