I have spoken to three different recruiters on three occasions in the last year. They never get back with a response after the "life story" call.
I understand if they don't want to proceed with the interview for some reason, but they should learn to say no. It is never a good idea to leave a candidate high and dry.
When you put in so much time and effort to apply, the least you expect is proactive communication leading to full closure of the process.
I hope they improve the process.
What is your life story?
