Work on establishing a collaborative culture across the whole company, and make sure it trickles down to every team. The company doesn't do remote working well anymore, and this is becoming worse every year. There are more and more managers who refuse to work async, offering no flexibility to those based outside of North America. Stop hiring supposedly "intelligent" engineers who don't know how to work as part of a team.
Round 1: * 1-hour pair programming * 1-hour life story interview Both interviewers were nice, and the coding question was easy-medium. I received a response that I was moved to the final rounds the very next day. Round 2: * Two 1-hour 15-mi
I was ghosted despite being told I would hear back in a few days. Unnecessary rudeness. I guess I dodged a bullet. * Initial call * Coding exercise * Life story * Ghosted Company cold called me to do an interview. Then they disrespected my time
The first interview was a pair programming exercise where I navigated a grid with a Roomba. The interviewer was pretty eager to jump in and made it clear it was a collaborative environment. I finished 20 minutes early and had a nice conversation wit
