I applied online and was initially required to complete some psychometric tests. After passing these, I received an email from HR regarding an interview.
The interview was 2:1. Both panel members were very welcoming and helpful when answering questions. For example, if I was unsure what was being asked, they were very willing to reword and assist me.
The interview lasted about an hour. Afterwards, I was given a tour of the premises and introduced to some of the departments.
Following the interview, I was offered the position, contacted by HR.
I was asked what I knew about the company, specifically regarding the rail automation sector.
I was also asked why I was interested in working for them.
We then went through my CV, and I was asked questions about some of my interests and hobbies.
Finally, there were some basic competency-type questions.
