A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. I had a 30-minute conversation with her, during which she explained the interview process.
Then, I received an email with a link to an exercise to be completed within a week. I worked on the exercise for a few hours. The exercise itself is straightforward and it does demonstrate front-end abilities.
I did not pass the exercise step, but what I dislike is that they provided zero feedback about why the exercise wasn't accepted.
The exercise consisted of building a small feature. You needed to show the ability to access APIs, update the web page without refreshing, and use native JavaScript.
