Do not waste your time doing the take-home exercise for this company unless they pay you!
I was contacted by the recruiter, told about the interview process, and given the take-home exercise.
I finished the exercise over the weekend and was then contacted by the recruiter, who said the exercise looked good and scheduled a call with the Hiring Manager.
I had the 1-hour call with the Hiring Manager and was immediately asked to go for the on-site interview.
I was interviewed by three pairs of engineers, managers, and QA.
I was NOT asked a single technical question! All questions were about the QA process.
The last interviewer(s) did not show up due to a family emergency, and I did not even get a chance to speak with the Hiring Manager directly.
Two days after the interview, I was contacted by the recruiter and told that the team found me weak on OOP concepts!!!
Do you believe in a QA team?
How should a QA team be structured?
