Good company, great perks, quality of work, and you're really making something which will be used by millions. Great career opportunities.
None really, just the sync up meetings at times because of the timezone difference.
TL;DR: Slack's interview process was one of the best I've experienced in over 10 years. My total time in the interview loop was about 7 weeks. I was referred to them through a network contact, so my experience may be different, but it was: * Phon
I applied to Slack online and had an interview with a recruiter. I was told that I didn't have enough experience working at the scale that Slack requires. They should probably just specify that they only want people who have worked at FAANG compani
Initial phone call with recruiter. Interested in handling heavy (1000+) requests per second for API/backend services. If you do not have this experience, you will not move on past the phone interview and they will inform you right there.
