I received an email from a recruiter after applying on their website, scheduling a quick phone call.
During the call, they asked many questions about my experience, why I applied to Slack, and other similar questions.
After that, I scheduled a 45-minute call with an engineer. They asked me a few data structure questions and a few other Android-related questions.
These were very generic screening questions that I always pass. I answered all questions, but I don't think the interviewer liked it when I asked, "Please feel free to tell me the correct answer." I think he stuttered to add more information, and when I asked a follow-up question, he said, "Let's move on."
Overall, I really wanted to work for Slack, but now I'm not sure it's a forgiving environment that I would like to work in.
