The interview process included an exercise using the Slack developer platform, followed by phone and onsite interviews. A final culture fit interview occurred after the onsite rounds.

Overall, there were approximately 7-8 rounds, excluding the recruiter screen. The interview process moved very quickly.

There was a detailed system design question, which spun off from my existing design. This was followed by coding questions and a detailed architecture diagram of an application built on the Slack platform.

There were also questions on engineering skills, including monitoring, logging, and DevOps.
